HOLOCAUST MONUMENT AMSTERDAM

Project description

In the Weesperplantsoen in Amsterdam we are going to build the National Holocaust Memorial Monument, this along the green strip between the Weesperstraat and the Court Garden of the Hermitage. 

The National Holocaust Memorial Monument is built in memorial to the 102,000 Jews and 220 Sinti and Roma who died during the Second World War. 

 The National Holocaust Memorial Monument is designed by the Polish-Jewish architect Daniel Libeskind on behalf of the Dutch Auschwitz Committee.
